IBC 2018: Lawo världsdebuterar UHD Core och VX_UDX 4K
Presenterar DSP-motor för etablerade mixerbord och kompanjon till V_Matrix IP Core.
Två världspremiärer befann sig i Lawo-montern på IBC i år. Först ut är UHD Core (ingångsbilden), eller rättare sagt A_UHD Core om man ska vara exakt, och är en nätverksbaserade tillika mjukvarudefinierad DSP-motor för ljud och är framtagen för mixerborden mc²56 och mc²96, till vilka den ger “utomordentlig” processdensitet.
Utilizing the IP network as the backplane of the mixer core, Lawo's A_UHD Core can be placed anywhere on the network. Its processing density of over 1,000 fully featured mc² DSP channels can either be used by a single mc² console or distributed across up to four consoles.
Maskinen är lämplig både för mobila applikationer och stationärt bruk, säger Lawo. Detta på grund av dess “flexibla” licensieringsmodeller.

VM_UDX 4K
Sist men inte minst debuterade man VM_UDX 4K och är den senaste av företagets “Virtual Modules”, släppt till V_Matrix IP Core Routing and Processing-plattform.
The VM_UDX allows for format conversions between SD, HD and 4K as well as audio embedding / de-embedding, frame sync, proc amp and RGB color corrections.
